Be the Change: Funding and Equity is a resource developed by Dunedin Community Builders for community and funders.

Mātāwai is proud to be part of Dunedin Community Builders, an informal, volunteer-run network of organisations, groups and people from across the community sector in Ōtepoti. One of the planks of our mahi is to look at how funding systems could be shifted to create change and equity.

Be the Change is distilled from the kōrero that we have heard from across the community and funding sectors over the last two years and more. It centres the stories and experiences of the Dunedin community and offers the ‘how to’ of funding for change and equity.
